One of the bay windows with 24 panes in our studio seemed like a good place for an advent calendar. We painted 1 -24 on the inside of the glass, then rubbed off a number every day and painted (mainly) wintery or festive pictures in its place. Here are two pictures of the window - halfway through the month and then on Christmas Eve.

A couple of new paintings on show at Saunders & Co.
The 'good luck with your new venture' bouquet from our good friends in Brightlingsea - it was too splendid just to put in a vase for a fortnight.

Another A6 stop-frame sketchbook film, this time from Coverack (in Cornwall) Open Gardens. These sketches are in ink and coloured pencils and were completed on the move.

A short stop-frame film of an A6 sketchbook from this year's Womad Festival. The ink drawings were done when standing watching bands or sitting with friends, then filled in with watercolour after the event.
